  • Mt. Hayden was our climbing goal for this area, but after a couple hours of searching fruitlessly for the trail and bushwhacking our way to a cliff or two, we backed down. Kelsey vowed to come back sometime.
  • The tourist overlook on the North Rim is not quite as popular as the South Rim, we're told, but the views seem to be just as grand.
