  • Allan Spangler and Morgan on the summit. Joe Cook made it up moments later, but my camera froze and I got no more pictures. The thin cloud layer below obscured the fireworks some, so we only caught little flashes here and there across the valley, but it was an event worth experiencing. Unfortunately a cold wind was blowing and none of our ignition sources worked, so we were unable to add to the fireworks with a show of our own.
