  • Ready... Set... Go!
  • The object of the game is simple: push the ball to the other end of the rope with your hose stream.
  • One team starts to gain an advantage and steps forward.
  • Thousands of tiny water droplets bash into the ball and scatter to the winds overhead.
  • A wide view, with spectators looking on. The games stop a lot of passers-by and the kids love the show.
  • A good angle from the ladder truck. I was able to shoot from here for the first brief instants of a match, then had to book it to get out of the way.
  • Mark Easter and Jess Young stare intently at their target, going for the win.
  • Between matches we'd reset the ball, while the OTHER kids had their fun.
  • The first team to the nozzle gets a few brief seconds of head start before the other team's water stream gets into play.
