  • Filming for the show in front of the scenery. Blowing a car through a frozen lake is something the authorities won't allow in our more pristine Alaskan areas, so a man-made gravel pit was used.

  • Because playing with dynamite is a bit dangerous for a real dog, the crew assembled a mechanical one for the demonstration. Unfortunately the -17*F Alaskan winter sapped the batteries rather quickly.
