  • We visited the Barataria Wildlife Preserve with little in the way of expectations, since it sits right on the edge of New Orleans. We were pleasantly surprised, however, with our first few steps down the boardwalk presenting us with magnificent Bald Cypress covered in streams of flowing moss.
