We rolled into Oklahoma late, and while looking for a campground we knew was in the area, we found a beautiful spot on the edge of a lake. Next morning found us climbing the little rocks at Robber's Cave.

  • Autumn colors keep following us, reflecting in the lake beside our camp early on a chilly morning.
  • Still water reflects the dead stems of former plants near the shoreline.
  • The low height of the rocks at Robber's Cave inspired some ropeless highball climbing. Here, Kelsey nears the top on the tallest route we worked, a beautifully solid 5.9.
