  • Fading light shines brightly from the gold decorations of the rooftops.
  • Chairman Mao's portrait ordains the front wall of the Palace Museum across the road from Tienanmen Square.
  • Local vendors sell a large variety of novelty foods. We didn't try the shark, but the temptation to eat a starfish was too much.
  • Our evening snack of starfish and snake meat is fried up by one of the vendors.
