  • Tracy decides not to follow me upward through a tight slot and instead waits outside as I admire the delicate rock features all around.
  • The entrance to a cavern beckons us in with golden beams of soft light offering enticing glimpses of what lies below the Earth's surface.
  • Faint light trickles in from above as Tracy descends further into the earth in one of the many caves that undermine the area's landscape.
  • Poor light from Tracy's headlamp does no justice to the glittering crystals visible even though covered with layers of dust from the cave.
  • Paths that seem naturally made for travel leave us wondering how many centuries of people have trod these caves floors and lived within the protective walls of the mountains.
