  • Our accommodation for the second part of our stay here is the downstairs half of an entire house - the biggest place we've ever lived in, and with the biggest fridge too!
  • Caged birds hang alongside the roads throughout most of the entire country.
  • A fat frog looks at the camera from its strategic position at the receiving end of a procession of ants.
  • Heavy evening rains flood the streets, but they certainly don't keep the people indoors!
  • Bananas reach for the sky from their stems deep in the hilly jungle near Kamala Beach.
  • A concrete trail just wide enough for a motorcycle leads steeply up into the hills.
  • An entire forest of rubber trees gives a portion of its latex for farmers to harvest and ship off to processing.
  • A humble home rests deep in the hilly terrain of this rubber tree plantation, secluded entirely from the noise and bustle of the town below.
  • A rubber tree lends support for a thin vine as it reaches for sunlight high above.
  • Our trail leads us onward through the rubber trees and deeper into the jungle.
  • A 360 view of the middle of a mountainous rubber tree plantation, with a couple small huts protecting peices of equipment from the elements.
  • Wild peppers grow in the jungle hills above Kamala Beach
  • A vine climbs the smooth trunk of a tree, reaching for sunlight high above.
  • Leafy branches stand silhouetted against a cloudy sky as the evening rains approach our location.
  • A friendly millipede explores the intriguing strangeness of Tracy's head.
