So this one was pretty basic, but still took a few shots to get right, mostly because I was working in a pitch black mine shaft. First off I made it to said mine shaft and traversed to its deepest point, climbing over a huge pile of debris from a cave-in to get there. I rigged the camera on the gorilla pod with a simple wireless remote and a wirelessly triggered flash, and then I placed the flash in various positions while triggering the shutter, trying out different zooms, poses, and lighting angles. In my final choice I am holding the flash in my right hand pointed back down the shaft toward the camera with a slight angle toward my front to illuminate the wall I'm looking at. The camera trigger is in my left hand. The breath was coincidental, I'm sad to say I didn't plan that element.
