Before and after of this project's efforts at the base of The Slot 5.7. Tiers were added to eliminate sloping mud that prevented comfortable seating and pack stowage, which was causing climbers to expand out into the surrounding bushes. Now the starting area for Zig-Zag and Center Slab Left has a flat platform, the next tier down is flat as well, and there is a water runoff channel to help direct erosion away from traffic areas. The grass and plants removed from the base area were moved to one of the sloping muddy areas that shouldn't see traffic anymore.

 • Before and after of this project's efforts at the base of Local Motion 5.7. Here, the base of the whole wall has been heavily trafficked and has eroded into a sloping muddy network of paths. To resolve this, rocks were brought in and a platform built to level out the base of the wall and keep foot traffic more confined to a limited and sustainable area.

 • Before and after of this project's efforts along the trail to the base of The Monolith. This section had somewhere around five trails going through it previously. One trail was selected as the best, and then improved with rock steps through steep muddy sections, gravel pads across flat areas, large stepping stones over the creek, and channels directing water runoff away from the path itself.
