  • Motorcycles are a great means of transport in Malawi due to their versatility and ability to reach dirt tracks where other vehicles can't. The church in Mzuzu was blessed with six of them during the covid-19 pandemic, and they have been essential for transporting ministers for outreaches where previously they had only been able to go by bicycle. Here they sit in front of the church after an evening service, waiting to ferry members to their homes.

  • Sunday morning the Katoto End Time Message Tabernacle from Mzuzu piled into a few different rigs including this one and headed north for a two hour drive to have services at a smaller church in Ntchenachena. Despite this being the rainy season and having threatening storm clouds flashing overhead on the way home after dark, nobody got drenched, and the services were great too. I'm told six people were baptized in the early afternoon, but we were too busy to go see that happen.
