  • The "finger" for my button pusher, cut from a piece of pine using a coping saw, and with edges rounded on the router table.
  • I only needed a simple base and stand for the finger to operate on, so I cut a few pieces and drilled some holes for everything to be screwed together.
  • The final product, ready for assembly. The magnet on the rear of the finger is glued to a counter-sunk screw, and the forward screw in the wall mount will also have a magnet glued to it once it is installed on the wall.
  • The mounted button pusher works like a charm, allowing less height-gifted folks to be able to operate this monitor, high up on the wall.
  • This angle shows the reset magnets, which pull the finger back into its "ready" position after activation.
